Luis A. Zavala-Mondragón (México, 1990) holds a BSc in electrical engineering by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and an MSC and a PhD at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the Netherlands. In addition, was research intern at Philips research (Eindhoven, the Netherlands), a data scientist at the medical startup Thirona B.V. (Nijmegen, the Netherlands) and a hardware emulation engineer at Intel (Guadalajara, Mexico). At this moment, Luis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the VCA Lab at TU/e, where his research focuses on development of interpretable neural networks that integrate signal processing concepts.
