Lotte Fleurkens-Ewals is a technical physician whose research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence to improve cancer detection on CT imaging. Her research focuses on improving cancer detection on CT scans, with particular emphasis on pancreatic cancer detection and the radiological assessment of peritoneal metastases. She is currently undertaking a fellowship funded by the Hanarth Fund. During this fellowship, she focuses on integrating models into clinical workflows, ensuring seamless interaction between AI and radiologists, and evaluating their feasibility and clinical value.
